Fluffy is a Chow Chow!
History confirms that chow chows have been in China for more than 2,000 years, making them one of the oldest breeds. In keeping with their traditional hunting, guarding, and sled-pulling duties, these fuzzy, bear-like dogs remain dutiful watchdogs. Their regal disposition is often compared to that of a cat. And although strong willed, at times to the point of stubbornness, the chow is also highly intelligent and eager to please, so housebreaking is generally easy. Her distinctive double coat requires a good brushing twice a week and much patience during seasonal shedding periods, when it seems that her fluff will fill the house.
We are pleased to welcome Fluffy to our practice!
