Nyla Renee is a Malti Poo!
The Maltipoo, Moodle or Malt-A-Poo is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between a Toy Poodle and a Maltese. Sometimes the breeder will work with a 50/50 cross and other times the breeder may skip a generation in the lineage. In other words, the breeder may breed a Maltese to a Toy Poodle, breed the resulting puppies to a Poodle (or a Maltese) for one or more generations and then sell these as Malta Poos. Only the 1st generation is a true 50/50 cross.
The personality, size and coat are entirely dependent on the percentage of each breed in the lineage. Both the Maltese and the Poodle are very intelligent and don't shed a lot; so, it could be trusted that the puppies will follow those traits.
The Toy Poodle and the Maltese are small dogs, weighing between 5 to 12 pounds, so the puppies should be small; regardless of the generational mix. The texture of the coat can be the real exception. The Maltese coat is fine and silky, while the Poodle coat is tightly curled and non-shedding. The fur will probably follow the dominant color and percentage of the parents.
The Maltese and the Poodle are both energetic, loyal, spunky dogs that love to play. Normally good with children and other dogs, they do not enjoy being left alone. They can be easily spoiled and demanding and need early, consistent training to avoid destructive behavior that will be difficult or impossible to cure when they are older.
This is definitely a dog that will need to live indoors with the family and regular grooming will be required.
