Max is a Pug!
These amiable, confident, playful companions can be stubborn; but are generally willing to please. They love to show off! These little guys are convinced that they are the "biggest dog on the block!"
Normally weighing less than 20 pounds and standing under 12 inches, Pugs do not handle either heat or cold well and should be considered a "House Pet". The short coat needs only occasional brushing, but the facial wrinkles need careful cleaning to prevent infections. They are prone to catching colds, so consider indoor exercise during cold weather.
They get along just fine with children and other dogs, but they may become jealous if either of the above get more attention than they do. They are notorious snorers!
