Clawdia is a Singapura!
This small cat originated on the streets of Singapore. The ticked coat pattern & dark brown color are indigenous to South Asia. They were originally brought to the US in the 1970’s, where breeders established the breed standards and they were registered in 1982 by the Cat Fanciers Association.
The smaller than average, shorthaired Singapura is curious, playful, intelligent and extroverted. They love to interact with people & will follow them around and "help" them. The oversized eyes and ears remind one of an Abyssinian, while their light beige coloring resembles that of a Cougar. The eyes can be green, yellow or hazel. They develop slowly and may not reach their full adult size of around 6 lbs until they are nearly 2.
