Kala is a Domestic Long Hair!
Kala is the oldest cat that we care for - she's almost 24 years old! That's a reflection of the ongoing, considerate care that her family has provided for her.
There are many factors that predispose a cat to a longer or shorter life. Genetics, weight control and exercise, proper nutrition, environmental conditions and constantly improving health care. While all of these factors are important, the ongoing control of their weight and nutrition status is vital.
With the improvements in the health care and diets that we are able to offer to our pets, many - if not most - of our pets can expect to live to become healthy senior citizens like Kala.
We are proud to have been chosen by such a loving family to be her medical caretakers and can only wish Many Happy, Healthy years for Kala as she nears her 24th Birthday!
