Dazy May is a Dachshund!
Evidence of the existance of these little dogs doesn't exist until the 16th century, when a "low crooked legged" dog was mentioned for hunting badgers.
The smooth-coated variety has a short, shining coat; the long-haired is sleek and sometimes wavy; and the wire-haired should have tight, thick, hard hair with a fine undercoat.
